Stars
Every time your child finishes a lesson in LuLinDingo, they earn between one and three stars. The number of stars is a quick read on how the lesson went, so you can glance at the path and see where things clicked and where a bit more practice might help.
How stars are earned
Stars come from accuracy, which is the share of questions answered correctly in that lesson.
- 90% or more correct earns 3 stars.
- 70% or more correct earns 2 stars.
- Below 70% earns 1 star.
Finishing a lesson always earns at least one star, even on a rough day. There is no way to come away with zero.
The best score is kept
A child can replay any lesson they have already finished. When they do, LuLinDingo compares the new result with the old one and keeps whichever is higher. A better run raises the stars. A worse run leaves them where they were. So replaying is always safe, and it is a good way to turn a one-star lesson into two or three once the topic feels easier.
Where stars show up
Stars appear on each completed lesson along the learning path. Look at the lesson bubble and you will see one, two, or three stars sitting with it. Lessons that are still locked or have not been finished yet do not show stars.
If you want to lift a score, have your child open a finished lesson and play it again. The stars update as soon as the lesson ends.
